The approach
A quiet room. An honest hour.
Therapy with me is unhurried and grown-up. No scripts, no jargon — just careful conversation that takes seriously what you bring, and the parts you've never quite said out loud.
Integrative roots
Psychodynamic at the core, drawing on attachment, somatic, and existential work where it serves you.
Unhurried pace
Fifty minutes, weekly, at the same time. No scripts, no homework, no rush.
Properly confidential
A protected space. What's said here, stays here — within the standard ethical limits I'll explain in our first meeting.
Short or long
Time-limited focused work around one issue, or open-ended depth work. Whichever fits what you're bringing.
The process
Four small steps. No big leap.
Free 15-min call
We talk briefly so you can hear my voice, ask anything, feel out the fit. No pressure.
Initial session
A first 50-minute session, in Stevenage or online. You bring what's on your mind.
Weekly rhythm
Most clients meet weekly at the same time. Some for months, some for years.
Endings, well made
We end intentionally, not by drifting away. Pausing is fine — disappearing is rarely useful.
