Questions

Honest answers first.

How much does a session cost?+

Standard sessions are £70 for 50 minutes. The first 15-minute introductory call is free.

How often do we meet?+

Weekly at the same time and day. Consistency is part of how therapy works — it lets us build something we can return to.

How long will it take?+

It depends what you bring. Some clients come for 8–12 sessions around a specific issue; others for longer, open-ended work. We'll talk about it openly as we go.

Do you work online?+

Yes. I see clients across the UK over secure video, and in person from my practice room in Stevenage.

Is what I say confidential?+

Yes, within standard ethical limits — which I'll explain clearly in our first meeting. Confidentiality is foundational to the work.

What if therapy isn't for me?+

That's exactly what the free call is for. If we're not the right fit I'll happily suggest other therapists I'd trust with you.

Do you offer evening sessions?+

Yes, I keep a few evening slots specifically for people who can't make daytime sessions. Mention it on the call and we'll find a time.

What about medication?+

I don't prescribe — that's your GP or psychiatrist's territory. But therapy works well alongside medication, and we can coordinate if that's helpful.

Can I bring someone with me?+

I work one-to-one with adults. If you're looking for couples work or family therapy I can point you to colleagues who specialise in that.
